+Davian Martikov gave the group two new [[dm:items|Tarokka cards]], and explained that if you rip them, they will have one-time magical effects. He says they were made by a powerful wizard who came to Barovia years ago to fight Strahd...and presumably lost.
+The party took Martikov's caravan back to Vallaki after a short stop in Krezk. Some offense by the group was taken outside of Krezk, as the Krezk guards would not open the town to them, claiming it was under the orders of the Burgomaster Dmitri Krezkov that no one pass (though wine still be paid).
+Back in Vallaki, the party left Davian after finding out a Vistani girl named Arabelle was missing, and promised to look for her.
+They found her, with a drunkard named Bluto trying to drown her as a sacrifice to the land, and took her back to the Vistani, leaving Bluto alive.
+They told Arabelle's father Luvash what happened; Luvash promised not to kill Bluto, but instead to make him very unhappy.
